Many buyers of listed buildings or period properties do you with the intention to restore them to their former glory. Many properties are neglected buy the previous owners. we come across rotten windows, damp walls,spald bricks and missing pointing. We can rectify all these problem, some by using approved modern techniques such as resin timber repairs and other more traditional repairs such as lime mortar pointing.

Lime pointing of an old stone chapel. This was approximately 130m2 and needed careful mixing to achieve a uniform colour. Luckily none of the stones were lose and so this was a straight forward lime pointing job.
The walls had a huge ivy that had left the lime in a very poor condition but the finished job looked great
Here we are carrying out lime washing of a 16th century mud and stud cottage.
The cottage had quite a few cracks in the lime plaster that we had to repair before we could start with the lime washing. We also do lime plaster repairs.
